We suggest promoting your event app by using both online and offline tactics.
Here is a basic list of ways for online promotion:
- Banners "App is available on App Store" and "App is available on Google Play" on your Event's website (see sample of banner attached)
- Press-release about your App in your newsfeed
- Social Media activities: Facebook announcement, tweets on Twitter, post on G+, etc.
- Email announcement to all attendees with a promo brochure attached.
And here is a list of offline tactics:
- Mention about your App on printed brochures and other handouts
- Mention about your App on banners, billboards, registration desk
- QR-codes with links to your App posted across your events' area
- Announcements by the session's moderator
- Set up a competition, for example, for the best tweet, photo or message in your Social App
