Can I distribute my app privately?
Yes, you can! If your organization is enrolled in the Apple Developer Enterprise Program (https://developer.apple.com/programs/ios/enterprise/), it's possible to use our app within your private network without publishing it to the app markets. Using your Apple Developer Enterprise Account we will build your app within 2 days without the need for review from Apple or Google! Usually, we distribute private apps by sending a URL to a landing page that can be opened in your device's web browser, prompting your attendees to download and install the app.
How will attendees find and download my app?
By opening the link you shared with them, users are directed to a landing page with the download links for the app. The landing page will contain a button that invites your users to download the app onto their device.
For iOS users:
After a user has tapped the download button, the page will prompt them to confirm the installation. That's it - the app should now be installed and it's icon added to your home screen.
The "Untrusted Enterprise Developer" message could be shown upon opening the app. In this case, your users will need to tap trust the developer in the device's settings as shown on the screenshots below (Settings -> General -> Device Management -> Trust "The developer"):
For Android users:
After users have tapped the download button, the APK file will be automatically downloaded to their device.
Once the file is downloaded, tap the Open button as shown on the screenshot above or locate the file in your Downloads and open it. Then install the app as shown below:
