Removing Unwanted Posts
Sometimes you may need to remove inappropriate or unwanted content posted by a user. While it's not possible to moderate what's being posted to the Activity Stream and Session Chats beforehand, you can delete any comment after it's been posted.
To remove a post from the general Activity Stream, go to the Interactivity > Activity Stream section in your event management dashboard. Click on the 3-dots icon next to the post you'd like to delete and select "Delete this Post":
To remove a post from a specific Session Chat, go to the Interactivity > Session Chat section in your event management dashboard. Select the session from the drop-down at the top to see the chat from that session. Click on the 3-dots icon next to the post you'd like to delete and select "Delete this Post":
You can also delete a profile to remove a user from the list of profiles. Deleting a user's profile will automatically hide all of their posts.
1. Events paired with the Attendify mobile container app
If you'd like to delete a profile, go to the Interactivity > Attendees section of your management dashboard. Click on the 3-dots icon next to the profile you'd like to delete and click "Delete".
Please note: any content associated with this profile will be permanently deleted, this attendee will not be able to sign up again with this email address. This action is permanent, it cannot be undone, and the profile cannot be reinstated.
Pre-created profiles, unclaimed by the users
An unclaimed profile cannot be completely deleted, though it can be revoked.
This works almost the same way as deleting a profile, but it can be reinstated later on if needed.
To reinstate a revoked profile, filter your attendee list to show the revoked profiles, click the 3-dots icon next to a profile, and select "reinstate".
2. Events paired with a Branded Multi-event app
In a branded multi-event app, profiles can be permanently deleted at the Container level of the app, in the People section. Just like with the Attendify app, this action is permanent, it cannot be undone, and the profile cannot be reinstated.
You can also keep a profile at the container level, but remove them from a specific event. To do this, go to the event level, then Interactivity > Attendees and click on the ellipsis button next to the profile. Removing from the event is not permanent, you can add the user back to the event as long as you didn't delete them on the app-wide level.
