Recent changes to the app store policy and how this affects your app and renewal process.
As of December 18th, 2017, Apple no longer accepts apps created from app generation services.
In response to this, we created an Attendify container app to host all apps that are submitted or renewed after 12/18/17. The Attendify app has the same functionality and performance as a standalone app and allows you to create beautiful branded experiences within the container. The only difference is your attendees will download the Attendify app and search for your event within the container. We can instantly publish your events to the Attendify container app at any time. What happens when my app expires?
As soon as your app expires, it is removed from the app stores and we no longer provide updates for it. Everyone who still has the app installed will be able to continue having access to the content (Schedule, Speakers, etc.) , but the social functionality will no longer work. If you would like to renew your app, continue to the info below:
One-Event App. There are two ways to proceed with your one-event app renewal: you can either reuse the same app or build a new one. No matter which option you choose, you’ll pay the same price.
In general, we don't recommend renewing previously used event apps for new events as there are a few limitations that could arise which you can read more about here.
Multi-Event App. Multi-event app subscriptions renew automatically. You can update the billing details easily from the Account's Settings page > Payments.
You will get another free event with the multi-event app renewal, and will be able to update the App Store details.

Events. Events under multi-event apps are designed for one event only. Reusing an already-existing event requires an additional payment. For optimal attendee experience, as well as the most up-to-date analytics, we recommend building new events rather than reusing the old ones.
